KRUUSE Surgical Gowns provide AAMI level 2 and 3 protection during surgery.
We offer both the KRUTEX Premium Surgical Gown and the KRUTEX Basic Operation Gown, to ensure we have a gown suitable for your needs. The KRUTEX Premium Gown offers AAMI 3* protection in surgery, while the KRUTEX Basic Operation gown offers AAMI 2* level protection.
KRUTEX Premium Surgical Gown
- For use in procedures with a moderate risk of exposure
- Protection level AAMI 3*
- The gown is made from non-woven SMMMS, a technology providing a high level of barrier protection and air permeability. It has a strong resistance to tears and punctures
- Ribbed cuff for increased protection
- Waterproof and surgically folded
- Includes 2 hand towels (30 x 40 cm)
KRUTEX Basic Surgical Gown
- For use in procedures with a minimal to low risk of exposure
- Protection level AAMI 2*
- The gown is made from non-woven SMS which features high tensile strength, softness and comfort
- Ribbed cuff for increased protection
- Waterproof and surgically folded
- Includes 2 hand towels (10 x 40 cm)
* AAMI Protection
AAMI provides standards for liquid barrier performance with ratings for different levels of gown protection from level 1-4.
- AAMI Level 2: Minimal to low fluid barrier protection. For use for only low-fluid, minimally invasive surgical procedures, lumps and bumps.
- AAMI Level 3: Moderate fluid barrier protection. Used for the widest range of surgical procedures, where moderate fluid protection is indicated.
